I woke up in a Soho doorway
a policeman knew my name:

Cafe Taci

Ok, but...by that time the night was not still over. Gregorio said: let's go to another place downtown (Greenwich Village) to eat more. We thought he was kidding, but we took a cab... Italian restaurant, with the best tiramisu in the city. We order pasta and tiramisu, of course. Meanwhile a really old russian lady was playing the piano, together with a girl singing opera! And then another one, and another...

Just great, i guess that's NY!! ;-)

Ok, that's so serendipitous!! I'll explain to you...In our way to JFK, we met a guy in the plane! His name was Gregory, but he said Gregorio! ;-) I don't know why, we started talking to eachother. Helen, Gemma and I. The conversation was going quite interesting, so go changed numbers. Yesterday, we finally met for a dinner. He said...i'll bring you to a speciall place. And SÍ, definitivamente! Mandarin Oriental Hotel: 35th floor. Private space, private view. Sofisticated food... Really a speciall time: Plaza, Clop & Kostura.

NYC looked amazing

walking around the village, soho,
canal st., tribeca, chinatown, little italy
we are that ones, was terrible cold!!!

NYC at night:

Skyline, Manhattan
from home
6 a.m.

Finally, yesterday 19th February, we arrived to the city that never sleeps! Long trip, but worthy! Cold and sunny day. Snow in the streets... Central Park looks great and white! Few changes have been taken place in Manhattan for the last 10 days... but i guess its spirit is still alive. Diversity, lights, magic...are just few words to describe the city.

The capital of the world?

Probably...You can feel it just walking around. Thousand of diferent faces, colors, behaviours... Everyone is unique. Everyone has a private world inside. And the rest...? The rest doesn't matter..

If I just lay here,
would you lie with me
and just forget the world?
